We weren’t home when the delivery occurred. But had made plans with a family member to be there at schedule time. The delivery driver called to say he was early and gave ample time for my sister to get there. When she arrived, she was pleasantly surprised at how well mannered and friendly he was considering he drove from Guelph to Wilno. He put her at easer; a positive fellow.
Gord – our sales rep – was a gem of a man from the first meeting. He put everything down in easy to understand terms and answered all our questions. (There were a few!) John has gone above and beyond the call of duty to deal with our electronic shortcomings, has answered all questions, solved umpteen problems, and is one of the most polite and competent people we have met (Ron is 82 and I’m 81, so we’ve known many people).
The roofing staff were incredible! Delivery of supplies arrived on time. The bin arrived before the crew, and the difficult job of stripping the original asphalt roof and the aluminum roof applied directly over the original roof, was done with precision and in amazingly record time.

Your service rep (Kwaku) was recently out to my property to complete the final warranty installation inspection. As my property is hidden, he met one of my neighbours and got directions. As they were talking, the neighbour inquired as to a roof leak with the local community hall, an old school house from the 30’s.
He wanted to know what it would take to put one of your roofs on the old building and how much fundraising would be needed. The young man took 30 minutes out of his day to have a look and not only review the building but take out his ladder and make a 5-minute fix with caulking to close the existing leak. This simple act was the talk of the community at the recent fall festival and fundraiser. It was so kind of him do perform this out the generosity of his heart and on behalf of representing your company.

From the moment we contacted them for a quote to the moment the installation was complete Hy-Grade were nothing but professional. Working in extremely difficult conditions (very hot) the crew did an excellent job. It took them a day or so longer than they originally estimated but given the conditions I did not begrudge them the necessary breaks. They cleaned up after themselves each and every day and in the end we are very, very pleased with the job and the house looks fantastic! And surprisingly the house is much quieter in heavy rain and hail than it was previously.

Hy Grade installed a steel roof on our home that was constructed in 1906. It has a very complex roof line with lots of valleys and peaks.
The salesperson was very knowledgeable about their product and answered all of my concerns.
The installation team was extremely professional and meticulous about their work. The result looks spectacular.
We have had a number of rain storms with very high winds since the installation as well as two large snowfalls. No problems or leaks and snow was well contained to the roof by the snow guards.
Some websites claim the steel roof would interfere with cell phone reception and wifi. The steel roof has had no effect on either of those services or the T.V. antennas we use inside the house.
We are 100% satisfied with the product, the installation and the appearance of the new roof.

Our Cottage roofing was done in 2018, the main building in early 2018 and the garage in December. We found that the interaction with Hy-Grade office personnel, and the installer personnel was very satisfactory from start to finish. Every part of the installation was completed exactly as explained.
We were very pleased with Tim, our installer, who was pleasurable to talk to, polite and professional every step of the way. I had explained to him before he started that there were a few corners that would need special attention due to the possible build up of moisture that has the effect of delamination of the Hardy Board that was used on the exterior of our building. Upon closer inspection, after the roof was finished, it became apparent to us that Tim had shaped the steel around these possible trouble points very carefully and hopefully the delamination problem will not occur in the future.
We wish to thank all the people at Hy-Grade for a great job well done.

These guys are FANTASTIC!!!. We had a roof installed by Hygrade in 2008. Recently we had a problem (no fault of hygrade) our chimney that we never use now and was built into the roof fell down. I contacted Lance in customer service on Tuesday morning and by Wednesday afternoon the installers were at the house and repaired the roof to the point you would not even know there was ever a chimney there. It is unfortunate that I have read one or two people that were not happy with their Hy-Grade roof. However, the response from Hy-Grade affirms the commitment this company has to it’s customers and we have experienced this first hand. It took us over a year to finally make the decision and during that time, I researched, compared and asked questions, visited other homes with Hy-Grade roofs and spoke with the homeowners. Once the commitment was made, we couldn’t be happier. This is our first winter with the new roof and with the high winds, snow and ice that 2016/2017 winter brought we were secure knowing that our shingles were not going to blow off, that the snow and ice were not going to ice dam like we had with our old roof. All the neighbours admire the high quality and it transformed the look of our home. We know for the next 50 years (or longer) the roof is something we will never have to address again. In addition, we have the assurance knowing that if we do have a problem it only takes a phone call to the office and someone will help us. I want to thank our sales representative for being so patient and answering all of our endless questions, Ted you were awesome.
