Our Orillia showroom is closed again until restrictions in Ontario are lifted. We are operating with reduced staff and we have taken further measures to protect the health and safety of our staff and customers.

Its official, the Orillia showroom has reopened! See Tim on Monday’s and Fridays between 9:30 am and 4pm. It is now mandatory that all visitors to our Guelph and Orillia locations wear masks when in the building, sanitize their hands upon arrival and social distance whenever possible.

JUNE 3, 2020 – UPDATE

Thank you to our valued customers for all of your referrals this spring during the pandemic. Referrals are very important to us, and we want to say an extra Thank you to all of our amazing customers who referred us to their Family, Friends and Neighbours during the pandemic. We are fully back to work with the exception of our Orillia showroom. We are looking to open the showroom by early July.

MAY 21, 2020 – UPDATE
To our Valued Customers and Future Customers,
Our Office is Open! We are excited to be back to work and for the spring ahead of us. Our office hours have returned to normal. We have put measures in place to protect our employees and customers. Each employee has their own mask, and will wear it when physical distancing is not possible. We have stocked up on hand sanitizer, made by a local distillery and increased our cleaning efforts.

APRIL 21, 2020 – UPDATE

Yesterday we heard very promising news about our curve flattening. We are excited for the days ahead and returning to a new normal way of work and life. The non-essential shut down will run until May 12, at which time we will reopen our office.
We will continue to monitor updates from the premier and look forward to returning to regular operations,

APRIL 14, 2020 – UPDATE

We hope you are keeping safe and healthy.
The Ontario government has extended all emergency orders that have been put in place to-date under s.7.0.2 (4) of the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act until April 23, 2020. This includes the closures of non-essential workplaces.
The Ontario legislature will be sitting today to extend a state of emergency in the province for another 28 days. The state of emergency does not mean that the non essential services will remain closed. The closure of non essential workplaces falls under emergency orders (as mentioned above).
We are committed to continuing to provide quotes and take orders during this time. Our phones are being answered but at reduced hours and we are checking messages daily. All quotes can be done with social distancing at the highest priority.

APRIL 3, 2020 – UPDATE

Premier Doug Ford announced the changes to the list of essential businesses which now does not include residential construction. Our office, manufacturing, deliveries and service departments are closed until further notice from the Premier. We are however checking messages, taking quote requests and completing in progress installations. We will also be accepting new orders, however cannot provide accurate wait times for installation due to COVID -19 measures in the province.

APRIL 2, 2020 – UPDATE
To our Valued Customers and Future Customers,
It has not been business as usual over these past weeks and today in our update we would like to share some of our stories. In a time when there is concern for the health and well being of our province we have seen a great effort from all of our people and customers. We want to thank you all for everything you have done to continue to support us while doing everything possible to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
We have seen our Roofing Consultants take great steps to not only continue to provide quotations but to help their communities. We have heard stories about them bringing customers milk, bread, eggs and other supplies. We are measuring roofs, without entering the home and presenting quotes in creative ways. In some instances our Roofing Consultants have been dropping off samples ahead of time and carrying out video calls with customers to answer their questions. In some cases our Roofing Consultants and Customers are having phone conversations while standing on either side of a window.
Our Installers are also putting in great effort to provide roofing installations during this time. They not only keep their physical distance from each other but from home owners as well. We have seen hand washing stations and signs posted on job sites to bring awareness about stopping the spread.
Although our office is closed, phones are still being answered during regular hours. Consistently we have noticed that every caller ends their conversation with some version of “stay safe and keep healthy”. The sense of care and compassion in our communities is overwhelming. The effort put in by everyone has truly been moving. Thank you to everyone, stay safe, stay healthy,

MARCH 25, 2020 – UPDATE
To our Valued Customers and Future Customers,
Yesterday we made the unprecedented decision to close our office and manufacturing until April 9th to help flatten the curve of COVID-19. We pride ourselves on being the leader in the Steel Roofing industry and hope that this sets an example. It is one thing that we can do to help.
We do however still have many people who are able to work remotely. Both our Roofing Consultants and Installers work in the areas they live, across Ontario and local to you. Our Roofing Consultants are still able to provide quotes, they do not need to go into your home, or talk face to face. They can measure the roof without entering the home, prepare the quote and discuss it over the phone or via skype. Many of our installers are still able to work as well, their crews are limited in size to lessen contact. They do not need to go into your home or discuss anything face to face, they are fortunate in that their role allows them to work outside in fresh air and limits their contact with others.
Our current Spring 2020 sale promotion will be extended until the end of April, we are in the process of making changes to our advertising.

Once our Roofing Consultants have assessed your roof and prepared your quote, and given the current directive from Public Health on social distancing, our Roofing Consultants can email your quote to you, and discuss all of the details of our system and your specifics over the phone. We also have Skype and Google Duo capability should you want a face to face virtual experience.
CONTRACTS CAN BE DONE ELECTRONICALLY!
Our contracts can be delivered electronically, signed on both sides, and returned to us with simple technology. Should you prefer a paper contract, arrangements can be made to comply with your needs.
ONLINE FINANCING!
Should you choose one of our convenient payment plans, or programs such as “Zero Payments, Zero Interest for 9-Months”, All applications and paperwork are done on-line! Your Roofing Consultant can easily guide you through this over the phone.
INSTALLATIONS AND SERVICE WORK CAN BE DONE!
Our installation crews and service technicians can install and service your roof, and limit personal contact. They do not need to enter your home. Should you have specific requests or situations important to you, we will work with our technicians and crews to make the experience appropriate for you. We have instructed all installation crews to:
- Refrain from physical contact with customers/people, specifically refrain from shaking hands
- Avoid entering customers homes for any reason even when invited specifically by the customer. This includes to use the washroom.
- Practice good hygiene. Wash your hands with soap and warm water.
- Stay home and avoid contact with others if you are not feeling well and/or are displaying any signs associated with the virus.
