Most metal roofing systems fail because they don’t account for the natural expansion and contraction of steel. As temperatures change—between seasons, or even day and night—steel expands when it’s warm and contracts when it’s cold. If a roof isn’t designed for this natural movement, the stress can damage fasteners, leading to leaks or failures.
Our engineered design solves this problem. Our unique expansion socket allows the roofing panels (we call them shakes) to move naturally without putting any stress on the fasteners. Plus, the design sheds water and snow effortlessly, ensuring long-lasting performance no matter the weather.
We use nails to fasten our shakes because they’re stronger and more reliable than screws. Nails have better shear strength, meaning they can handle sideways pressure—like strong winds or temperature changes—without breaking.
Unlike screws, which are more brittle and can snap under pressure, nails are designed to bend rather than break. This flexibility keeps your roof secure and helps it withstand the forces of nature.
We are so confident in our system that every roof we install comes standard with a 50 year no leak warranty. Unlike warranties from other companies, ours is never prorated and has unlimited owner transfers. So – even if you sell your home or pass it onto your children, the new owners are fully covered for the remaining life of the warranty.
We then back that up with our lifetime workmanship warranty. That means exactly what it says; the workmanship is warrantied literally forever. We hand-pick every installer and then train them to our rigorous standards so we can confidently stand behind our work.
